With the opportunity of its public meeting in Paris on April 7-9th, CliniGene is willing to introduce a
high level hands-on training which is open to a large public of young professionals specialising in
Gene Therapy and Cells engineering. This training is organised along an original scheme which is
featured taking advantage of CliniGene specific features and the above mentioned event:
1°/ Eight technology platforms specialising each on a different area and/or gene transfer vector system
or cell engineering
2°/ The CliniGene public conference Gene Transfer and Therapy: state of the art and eCHiPS -
European Conference on Human iPS, which will take place on April 7-9th 2011, in Paris

In practical, each platform (PF) organises its own training programme along a dedicated format, and
the PF are as follows:
1- AAV based GT
2- Adenovirus based GT
3- Retrovirus based GT
4- Lentivirus based GT
5- Gene-modified cells based therapy
6- Non viral methods for GT
7- iPS
8- General biosafety and high-throughput IS screening

Eligibility

This training is open to a broad community of young investigators extending beyond the CliniGene
partner institutions. Young investigators and students with interest in this special opportunity are
requested to attend the CliniGene Public Meeting: “Gene Therapy: state of the art and eCHiPS
conferences” either in its entirety or at least 7th-8th or 8th-9th, 2011 in Paris: in fact, participation to
the meeting will provide both comprehensive high level introduction to the field and the opportunity to
interview with PF leaders.
More information on the Public April Meetings is available here:
